But its power is quite limited, except far away
Beyond the realm of Paradise; but you possess

In your heart a place, can you hear it stir with
longing?

Before it ceased the brave breath experienced
great joy;
A light flashed like lightening and the youth
knew himself;
The worlds opened round him, crowning him with
laurels,
………………………………………………………….
A remnant most wonderful of solitude and
splendor,
O good and handsome stranger, while your youth
blossoms,
Go and accept by the strand the mighty man’s
weeping.

Πριν πάψ' η μεγαλόψυχη πνοή χαρά γεμίζει·
Άστραψε φως κι εγνώρισεν ο νιος τον εαυτό του· Οι κόσμοι γύρου ν' άνοιγαν κορόνες να του ρίξουν. ................................................................. Απομεινάρι θαυμαστό ερμιάς και μεγαλείου, Όμορφε ξένε και καλέ, και στον ανθό της νιότης, Άμε και δέξου στο γιαλό του δυνατού την κλάψα.
